The Glades

The Glades at Lake Stevens, WA is an independent living facility for widowed women. The logo tells the story. It’s set in the location of the facility (on the lake of Lake Stevens), it also includes pine trees which shows potential residents the facility is surrounded by forests of Washington. There are three pine trees in the logo to show togetherness and friendship. The color palette uses a nature inspired mix of grays, greens, and a dark brown. I used traditional typography for all of the text, which is easy to read. The digital deliverables I created are a website and an app. The best part of this project is the website, which is linked below in the slides. I am very proud of the final website, as creating websites is one of my strengths. The photos used on the website were selected to represent the actual residents and the beautiful setting of Lake Stevens. Facility photos of a coffee cafe, restaurant, and game room rounded out what I featured. Other deliverables include a pamphlet, welcome package folder (includes business card, welcome letter, what’s included sheet, weekly menu, apartment floor plans, and a building map), menu, postcard, flyer, billboard, AARP magazine ad, a regular magazine ad, interior and exterior signage, and stationary (a letterhead, notepad, and a pen). This project incorporated branding, typography, and digital experience.
