Lolita Fashion Subculture Zine

The lolita fashion subculture zine focuses on the subculture of lolita fashion. I used a pastel color palette throughout the whole zine. The font is easy to read. I really like how clean and simple the spreads are. They aren’t too flashy or in your face. The pictures are clear and easy to look at. The zine states the origin of how lolita fashion came to be and also talks about the different types of fashion within the term lolita. For this project I created a history spread, the styles within lolita fashion, basic wardrobe for one of the fashion styles, a biography on a well known lolita fashion icon, and a spread that discusses the sweet lolita fashion. This project incorporated editorial design and some slight branding.
