Porridge Papers Wedding Booklet

Porridge Papers offers sustainably produced, artisanal paper created by hand. I chose their 1889 paper collection to create a wedding booklet which perfectly showcased their uniquely colored papers. The paper colors used are Bluestem, Cotton, Fog, Magnolia, Wheat, and Wool. In this booklet, I explain the different components of a wedding and what a bride needs to plan for her big day. I used a watercolor style as it blended well with the textured paper in the background. I selected and artistically arranged vintage inspired pngs throughout the booklet. Each page is a different component of a wedding. I am particularly proud of this project because it took a lot of time and effort. I created a cohesive booklet to showcase Porridge Papers. I had to remove the backgrounds from each of the pngs, so I could move them around and overlap as I saw fit. This project incorporates editorial design as well as layouts and typographic systems.
